  Trouble with SDcard
Posted by:  Mangy_Dog - 18-03-2018, 00:13 43 - Forum: STM32 - Replies (46)

Hi, Ive been getting a fair bit of help from james with my project. But at the moment ive moved over from the Arduino i was using to a STM32f4.

?mage

While I can sometimes run the Helloworld sketches through the GD2UB library, I simple cant get the SDcard to read the GD2 files for my project.

Im using james GD3 shield and its onboard reader.
I have tried setting various different pins for the SD card but none have worked.

Its as if the sd card is blocking the MISO lines and not releasing CS.

Is this a known issue?

Or... Is there a way to use the built in SD card on the stm32?

Any help would be appreciated.

  Instability with STM32F103C8T6
Posted by:  raufjay - 17-03-2018, 03:18 21 - Forum: Hardware - Replies (5)

Hello,

I have successfully completed a project with several menu screens and many features. But I started having instability. Every now and then I get the RED ERROR screen, and even system stops responding.
I checked all codes and tried to reduce the load on processors. But I think thats the processor stability issue. Have you come across stability issue with STM32F103C8T6?
Please suggest some solution.

Thanks,

Rauf

  SPI clock setting
Posted by:  raufjay - 12-03-2018, 15:01 42 - Forum: Codigos - Replies (1)

Hello
I see in GD2UB.h the SPI clock has set to 21MHz. There is a 3MHz commented value beside 21MHz.
My question is that what other SPI clock frequency we can use other than 21MHz.

Thanks

Rauf

Posted by:  raufjay - 12-03-2018, 02:57 21 - Forum: Codigos - Replies (2)

Hello,

Occasionally, I get the following error while using GD2UB library.

Error en STM32F103C8T6 Revisar Comandos.

What does this exactly mean? Is is stack overflow or any thing else?

Thanks,

Rauf
